3D Scanner

      The goal of this team project was to build and program a 3D scanner using a pan-tilt mechanism. The pan-tilt mechanism was composed of two servo motors and an infrared distance sensor, all of which were controlled by an Arduino. We used the pan-tilt mechanism to collect data from the IR sensor in a raster and then used Python to visualize the output as a 3D plot.
